Aligned carbon nanotube forests, aka arrays, are grown at NanoLab using a CVD method.
The nanotubes are grown from iron nanoparticle catalyst, which can be patterned or deposited at different thickness to control the growth of either single wall or multiwall carbon nanotubes.
Substrate: 1" square 304 stainless steel foil, 0.006" thickness
Nanotubes: <10nm diameter, >100 micron height, site density >10^9cnt/cm2
